Recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3), IVY MCQUEEN CHARITY INC received its determination as a public charity classified under Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). Our exemption is effective August 16, 2012, and contributions are deductible under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
We operate on a calendar fiscal year ending December 31. As a small public charity, we file Form 990-N and keep our focus on mission delivery, donor trust, and neighbor-centered service.

August 2012
Tax-exempt status effective
The IRS recognized IVY MCQUEEN CHARITY INC as a 501(c)(3) organization, enabling tax-deductible contributions and formalizing our public charity mission.
September 2012
Determination letter issued
Official determination confirmed public charity status under 170(b)(1)(A)(vi), unconditional exemption, and Form 990 filing responsibilities.

We expanded partnerships with community pantries, volunteer teams, and outreach leaders to move food faster to households in need.

Our Feeding America-inspired model keeps urgency visible — a live Hunger Clock, meal multiplier, and ZIP pantry locator helping neighbors find help now.

Trust is part of the meal.
We publish our EIN, governance leadership, and privacy commitments openly. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share donor contact information with third parties. Our board provides oversight of programs, finances, and compliance.
